Plaintiffs consider raising duties on Chinese imports illegal
About 3.5 thousand American companies, including Tesla, Ford Motor, Target, Walgreen and Home Depot, filed a lawsuit. Plaintiffs allege US federal authorities – US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and US Border Guard Service are named as defendants – illegally increased customs duties on Chinese goods.
