US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said he would seriously consider additional direct payments to people under the next phase of coronavirus crisis relief bill.

“We will have great unemployment and we need to see what can be done about it,” Mnuchin said. “I think we need to seriously see if we want to go for additional direct payments to stimulate the economy, but it seems to me that all this will be related to the return of people to work.”.
