Conservative Regnery Publishing To Publish A Book by Republican Senator Josh Hawley After It Was Rejected by Simon Publishing House & Schuster in connection with the riots at the Capitol Building in Washington.
Hawley’s book The Tyranny of Big Tech will be out of print this spring, Regnery Publishing reported in a press release..
Senator for Missouri, Hawley was one of several Republicans in Congress who objected to counting the votes of some electoral college members who voted for President-elect Joe Biden.
The very next day after the riots in the Simon Capitol & Schuster announced that it will not publish the book, explaining that it “cannot support Senator Hawley after his involvement in what has become a dangerous threat to our democracy and freedom.”.
Hawley called the publisher’s decision “Orwellian” and a “direct attack on the First Amendment” to the US Constitution.
